Concrete countertops and tabletops can be integrally colored with any paint color from Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams, acid stained or dyed with any of our floor colors, or fabricated in several hues of the soft, comforting gray of concrete. Items such as sea shells, Mother of Pearl, or broken mirror or glass can be incorporated into the design of your countertop and then exposed while polishing. Concrete countertops can easily be used with drop-in, under mount, or farmhouse style sinks and appliances. Smooth curves, linear edges, and backsplashes are easily done due to the versatility of concrete. But WAIT! That’s not all! A typical concrete counter is roughly 1.5” thick in the body, while the edge can be as “thick” as you like. We have done edges up to 6” in height! A variety of edge choices are available allowing you to tailor your top to fit the mood of your space. Edge choices include, but are not limited to, traditional eased edge, textured, bull-nosed, or any of other several edge treatments available.

At Minds in Motion Contractors, through mix design development over our years of counter fabrication, we have developed a mix design that is virtually bug-hole free, is extremely dense, and provides you with years of quality service from your concrete counter. Our tops are reinforced with fibers, a double layer of steel, and cure out at a 6000 – 7000 psi rating. Once fabrication is complete and before our tops are delivered to your location, they are cut, polished, sealed with 2 coats of penetrating sealer, then waxed and buffed. Once delivery is complete and counters are set, Mimcon will glue all the sinks with waterproof glue, grout all the joints with a complementary colored grout made specifically for countertops (we have 360 colors available), then waxed and buffed out again. This ensures that the delivered product is ready for show-time!
